BattleSea is a free browser game for building warships and fighting naval battles. Create a ship from modular parts, explore solo missions, or invite friends into a private match.
Solo missions & sea trials
Take on missions or try a sea trial to test handling and weapons. Experiment with different ships, environments, and opponents.
Private multiplayer
Create a 1v1 duel or a 4v4 team room. Share its invite link or room code with friends, choose your ships, and ready up together.
How to play
- Open BattleSea in a browser with JavaScript and 3D graphics support.
- Choose Shipyard to customize your vessel, or use the starter ship.
- Open Battle for solo missions or Multiplayer for a private room.
- Use W/S for throttle, A/D to steer, click to aim, and Space to fire your selected weapon group. The in-game Controls screen explains the other commands.
Do I need to download anything?
No separate game install is needed. BattleSea runs in your web browser and is currently free to play as a casual alpha.
Where are my ships and progress saved?
Your designs and progress are saved in this browser. Use the game's backup and export tools before switching devices or clearing browser data.
How do private matches work?
The host creates a room and shares an invite. Each captain joins and chooses Ready with this ship; the countdown begins when everyone is ready. All-parts practice lets you experiment without progression rewards.
